This Privacy Policy describes how Ultra ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application (the "App").
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide the features of the App. This includes:
A. Location Data
The App collects location data to enable:
- Geofencing Alarms: To trigger reminders when you enter or leave a specific area.
- Location Tracking: To record your trips and provide insights into your travel history.
We collect this data even when the App is closed or not in use (Background Location) if you have enabled these features. We use Coarse and Fine location permissions to ensure accuracy.
B. Physical Activity (Health Data)
Our App accesses Physical Activity data (which Google categorizes as Health Data) to provide core functionality. This includes detecting when you are:
- Stationary (Still)
- Walking
- Running
- Cycling
- In a Vehicle (Driving)
Usage: This data is used specifically to:
- Enable activity-based reminders (e.g., "Remind me when I start walking").
- Trigger duration-based alerts (e.g., "Alert me after 30 minutes of running").
- Optimize battery performance by reducing location polling frequency when the device is detected as stationary.
This data is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers unless specifically included in a manual backup exported by you.
C. Medication and Treatment Information
The App includes optional features for Medication and Treatment Management. If you choose to use these features, the App stores information you provide, including:
- Medication Names and Dosages
- Inventory Counts (Pills Remaining)
- Refill Schedules and Adherence Logs
Usage: This information is used solely to provide timely reminders, track your adherence, and alert you when an inventory refill is needed. Like other health-related data, this is stored locally on your device.
D. Device Information
We may collect minimal device information (such as device model, battery level, and OS version) to:
- Monitor device health for battery-sensitive triggers.
- Ensure compatibility and improve App stability.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality.
- Send you notifications related to your alarms, reminders, and medication schedules.
- Analyze usage patterns and adherence to enhance user experience (data is processed locally).
3. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Storage: Your data is primarily stored locally in a secure database on your device.
Retention: We retain your data as follows:
- Active Data: Reminders, activity logs, and saved locations are retained as long as the App is installed on your device to provide functional service.
- Log Data: System activity logs are kept for a maximum of 30 days or until the log reaches its size limit, after which the oldest entries are automatically deleted.
Deletion: You have full control over your data and can request deletion at any time via:
- In-App Deletion: You can manually delete individual reminders, cleared logs, or saved locations within the App's UI.
- Nuke Everything: For a complete reset, you can use the "Nuke Everything" button found in the App's Settings. This will immediately wipe all local data and configurations.
- Complete Reset: You can also delete all App data by going to your Android System Settings > Apps > Ultra > Storage > Clear Data.
- Uninstallation: Uninstalling the App will remove all data stored in the App's private storage directory.
Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell or share your personal location or health data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
- Google Play Services: The App uses Google Play Services, which may collect information used to identify your device. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more details.
4. Security
We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no application can guarantee complete security.
5. Your Rights and Choices
- Location & Activity Permissions: You can enable or disable location and physical activity services for the App at any time through your device settings.
- Data Access & Deletion: You have the right to access your stored data within the App and delete it using the methods described in Section 3.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
